Chris D. Kuhner

Chris D. Kuhner focuses his practice in the areas of bankruptcy law, commercial litigation, and bankruptcy litigation (specializing in discharge litigation and avoidance claims). He has experience representing creditors, debtors, and trustees through every stage of bankruptcy proceedings and related insolvency matters. Mr. Kuhner represents individuals and small to medium size businesses in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcies and out of court workouts. Chris also represents creditors including banking institutions, private lenders, individuals and commercial entities in and out of bankruptcy. This diverse debtor-creditor practice gives Chris a unique perspective from all sides of any dispute. Chris is an Orinda native and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School in 1994. He is licensed to practice in all California state courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central and Eastern Districts of California, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
