Christie Ryan engages in the practice of Appellate Law, Civil Trial Law, Commercial Law, Consumer Law, Family Law, and General Law.
I was born in Fort Worth and have lived most of my life in Texas. I attended Tyler Junior College, then graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in History. I then went on to attend and graduate from Baylor Law School in 2008 with a Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, I interned for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, the McLennan County District Attorney's Office, and Dunnam & Dunnam. I was also a member of Phi Alpha Delta in Law School. Since being licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas in 2008, I have practiced law in Waco as a member of Dunnam & Dunnam. I am also a member of the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association.
I have practiced in a variety of areas since 2008, including personal injury, breach of contract, general civil litigation and family law. My practice now primarily focuses on general civil litigation and family law. I have handled numerous cases involving divorces, child custody and child support issues. I have also personally been involved in numerous trials, both jury and non-jury, and other hearings throughout Central Texas. Additionally, throughout my career, I have appealed and orally argued several cases to different Courts of Appeals, and have further appealed cases to the Texas Supreme Court.
I am married to a professor/ attorney at Baylor University School of Law and we have a two year old little boy and are expecting our second child in July of 2013.
