ABOUT Christopher D. Hite

Christopher D. Hite represents clients in a wide variety of practice areas. He primarily focuses on workers compensation, employment law, family/child custody matters, probate and estate planning, civil litigation, chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings, and consumer law issues. Attorney Hite graduated from the College of William and Mary, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He continued his studies at Syracuse University College of Law, where he won numerous awards in various national and interschool trial and appellate competitions. Additionally, Attorney Hite was the recipient of an Equal Justice Works Summer Fellowship for his work at the Monroe County Legal Assistance Center and participated in the Syracuse University College of Law Community Development Law Clinic. Upon graduation, Attorney Hite was admitted to both the Connecticut and New York bars and practiced for several years at a general practice firm in Tolland County. During this time, he gained extensive litigation experience and knowledge in many areas, specifically family, probate, consumer law and bankruptcy matters. Attorney Hite is actively involved in the Connecticut Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Section, currently serving as an Executive Committee Co-Chair for the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section. Additionally, he is actively involved in a number of community-based and charitable endeavors.
