From a young age, Mr. Hein had an interest in law, but not until completing an internship with Houlihan, Managhan & Kyle during his undergraduate studies, did he realize he was to make a career out of it. After earning his Bachelor of Arts in administration of justice from Salve Regina University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Roger Williams School of Law, he was admitted to practice law in 2014 by the Rhode Island Bar Association. Since then, he has excelled in the field of law.
Prior to launching his own private practice, Craig Hein Law, in 2015, Mr. Hein worked with some of the nation’s most experienced and respected attorneys on some of Rhode Island’s largest criminal cases. During this time, a gained a wealth of litigation knowledge that he has thus transmuted into ensuring the same level of advocacy be brought to his private practice clientele.
Recognized among the Top 10 Best DUI Attorneys and the Top 40 under 40 with only five years of law practice behind him, Mr. Hein is becoming one of Rhode Island’s most celebrated young attorneys. In 2019, he was showcased as a Rhode Island Monthly’s Professional Excellence in Law Honoree for his work in criminal defense. He is also notable member of the Newport County Bar Association.
