Cindy Beyea is a member of Eversheds Sutherland's Financial Services Practice Group and focuses her practice on advising mutual funds, closed-end funds, exchange-traded funds, business development companies, investment company boards of directors and investment advisers. Cindy concentrates on issues involving the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and related federal securities laws.
Cindy assists investment company clients with structuring and registration, reporting and disclosure requirements, and fund governance and compliance matters. She also provides advice and counsel to investment company clients with respect to complex reorganization and acquisition transactions. Cindy also regularly advises clients with respect to Section 529 college savings plans. She is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars.
