Diana Payne received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Japanese Language from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1974 and her law degree from the University of Denver College of Law in August, 1982.
She was an instructor at the Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan in 1974 and 1975.
From 1976 to 1982, Diana was the Executive Vice President and Trust Officer for Trust Company of America, an institution specializing in corporate pension and retirement plans, trust and estate administration with over $30 million of assets under supervision.
Diana participated in the University of Denver’s Externship Program and has worked for a regional law firm in Anchorage, Alaska where she was involved in complex real estate and natural resource matters. Following graduation from law school, Diana was Law Clerk for the Honorable Michael C. Villano and his successor, the Honorable Ruthanne N. Polidori.
She specializes in bankruptcy, commercial and corporate matters, employment law, pension planning, estate and probate, and taxation.
