Dinah is a senior partner at Bennett and Michael. She was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, and has practiced law in Murfreesboro since 1997.
Her current practice focuses on Family Law, Personal Injury, Insurance Defense, and General Civil Litigation in the Murfreesboro and greater Rutherford County area. She has extensive experience in these areas having litigated cases in trial courts throughout Middle Tennessee, and in the Tennessee Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
Dinah also maintains an active Mediation practice in Rutherford County. She is a certified Rule 31 Family Law and Civil Law Mediator, handling matters ranging from divorce and custody to personal injury lawsuits.
Dinah was an editor on the Tennessee Law Review and a law clerk at Jenkins and Jenkins, PLLC, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She moved to Murfreesboro in 1996 to serve as law clerk to the Honorable Don R. Ash in the Circuit Court of Rutherford County, Tennessee, for both criminal and civil dockets. In 1997, she joined the Murfreesboro office of McClellan, Powers, and Ehmling, P.C., practicing in Insurance Defense, Personal Injury litigation, Adoption, and Family Law.
Dinah attends Nashville First Church of the Nazarene, in East Nashville. She is a member of the Rutherford and Cannon County Bar Association and American Inns Of Court. She holds undergraduate degrees from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, Hollins College in Roanoke, Virginia, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee.
