Duard Dennis Ballard

Mr. Ballard is an Indiana native and, after passing the Bar Examination of the State of Ohio in 1976, began his career in the Tax Department of the international CPA firm of Touche Ross & Co., now Delhoitte & Touche.
After spending one year as a Tax Attorney at Marathon Oil in Findlay, Ohio, Mr. Ballard started his legal career at Marshall & Melhorn, where he was elected managing partner at age 36.
Mr. Ballard has represented Fortune 500 corporations and their executives in the mergers and acquisitions during the 1980’s. He has done substantial legal work in South and Central America, as well as in Liechtenstein and Luxembourg. In the early 1990’s, Mr. Ballard and other colleagues formed a business boutique firm in Sylvania, Ohio, which specialized in tax, securities, estate planning, real estate and employment law.
Mr. Ballard retired from the law practice in 1999 and was involved in trucking, warehousing and distribution in central Indiana until 2012, wherein he sold or closed his businesses and retired.
Mr. Ballard now practices business law in the states of Indiana and Ohio.
