ABOUT Floyd J. Dugas

Floyd J. Dugas is a member of the firm's Labor & Employment and Education Law Departments. Though he represents both private and public sector employers, he heads up the firm's municipal Labor & Employment practice, representing a number of towns, cities and boards of education (in many cases serving as General Counsel) throughout the State of Connecticut. Mr. Dugas has served as an adjunct Professor of Labor Relations, he is an arbitrator on the State of Connecticut Department of Education Panel of Arbitrators, and is Chair of the Personnel and Benefits Committee of the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center of Greater Waterbury, Inc. He regularly lectures on labor, employment and education law topics and serves as the Partner in charge of marketing for the firm. He is a member and past president of the Connecticut School Attorneys Council and is a member of the National Council of School Board Attorneys.
