Forrest T. Passerin is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Real Estate Practice Groups. Forrest is based in Leech Tishman’s Wilmington, DE office and focuses his practice on corporate real estate transactions and mid-market mergers and acquisitions.
Forrest’s experience includes all aspects of real estate development acquisition, investment and financing. He regularly handles joint venture, acquisition, and disposition transactions on behalf of public and private real estate investors. Forrest represents lenders and borrowers in loan transactions and negotiating and restructuring distressed real estate lending and joint venture relationships.
Forrest is an expert in structuring real estate ownership and financing transactions ranging from the ordinary acquisition of an apartment complex to the extraordinary involving the acquisition of a for development vacant structure involving private equity investment, tax credits and traditional mortgage financing.
Forrest’s background also includes serving as a construction manager for a family-owned construction company in Ohio, which was focused on providing construction services to the prefabricated housing markets in western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia. During this time, he assisted the company in the investment in and development of small single-family developments and small to mid-sized apartment complexes located in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio.
