Michael Garcia is an associate in the Casualty Department. His practice includes a wide variety of casualty cases including, premises liability, motor vehicle personal injury, and municipal liability matters. With his criminal law background, Michael also handles civil rights defense.
Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Michael served as an Erie County Assistant District Attorney for four years. In that role he tried over 40 criminal cases, including high-profile homicide and felony drug and gun cases.
Michael is a graduate of Gannon Unveristy in Erie, Pennsylvania where he attended on an athletic scholorship for Men's Golf and earned Academic All American Honors. Michael attended the University of Dayton School of Law where he achieved his juris doctor in 2011.
Michael served as law clerk to the Honorable Michael E. Dunlavey in the Erie County Court of Common Pleas from November 2011 until the judges retirement in August 2012. Thereafter, Michael continued to work as law clerk to Senior Judges John A. Bozza and Fred P. Anthony.
