Gary D. McCallister is the principal member of Gary D. McCallister & Associates, LLC Mr. McCallister was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1950. He began the practice of law in 1975 following his graduation with a Juris Doctor degree from Washburn University of Law in Topeka, Kansas where he served as the Business Editor of the Washburn Law Journal. Mr. McCallister has presented numerous presentations and speeches to legal organizations throughout the United States and has published articles in The Washburn Law Journal and Trial Magazine. Mr. McCallister is admitted to practice in the states of Illinois, Kansas and Colorado and is admitted to both the state and federal courts in those states, the United States Supreme Court and various United States District Courts and United States Courts of Appeals throughout the United States. Mr. McCallister has been an active member of numerous state and national trial lawyer organizations such as The Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, The Kansas Association for Justice in which he was a past president, The Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice and Public Justice, a national public interest organization. Mr. McCallister has achieved the highest rating for legal ability in Martindale-Hubbell.. He has been named an Illinois Super Lawyer in the area of personal injury law.
