Attorney Wilber originally hails from South Dakota. Born in Pierre, SD, Attorney Wilber was raised in Miller, SD before attending college at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. Attorney Wilber played linebacker for the SDSU Jackrabbits’ Football Team and was elected Team Captain during his senior season. He was also on the Dean’s List and a Motor Board Honor Society Member. He graduated from SDSU with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Political Science in 1998.
Attorney Wilber next attended Law School at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. He was chosen by the University as a recipient of Marquette Law Alumni Scholarship. While in Law School, Attorney Wilber was selected as a member of the National Civil Rights Moot Court Team competing in a national competition in Washington, DC. He was also selected as a Moot Court Board Member and Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity Member. Attorney Wilber rounded out his Law School education with a selection for an internship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office Civil Division through the Federal Court in Milwaukee, WI. Attorney Wilber graduated Law School in 2002.
Upon graduation from Law School, Attorney Wilber was admitted to practice law by the Wisconsin State Bar Association, The United States District Court – Western District of Wisconsin, and The United States District Court – Eastern District of Wisconsin. Attorney Wilber is also a member of the Wisconsin Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, National Trial Lawyers and American Association for Justice.
Attorney Wilber has spent the entirety of his legal career helping people who were injured in various types of motor vehicle and other accidents. He has had the privilege of helping thousands of people during some of their most trying times. Attorney Wilber has successfully negotiated thousands of injury claims over the years. He has litigated several trials to a successful conclusion and even had some of his verdicts featured by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Fox 6 News and other news outlets in the Milwaukee area. Attorney Wilber has also received several prestigious awards from his legal peers. Attorney Wilber was selected as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2008, 2011 and 2012 as well as being named one of the Top 40 Trial Attorneys Under the Age of 40 in the State of Wisconsin by The National Trial Lawyers in 2011.
Attorney Wilber is happily married to his wife, Macee (Hulm) Wilber. He and Macee met while attending South Dakota State University. Together, he and Macee have three beautiful daughters, Amelia, Josephine and Stella. Attorney Wilber happily now considers Wisconsin his home. When he is not working or spending time with his family, Attorney Wilber is passionate about music, literature, sports and his friends.
