Hi, I’m Greg Shentwu and I assist the firm on cases in both their pre-litigation and litigation phases.
A majority of my experience before Hinman Law Group was at defense firms, an experience that I now use on a daily basis to help our clients achieve the best results possible. I started out as a law clerk for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and then went on to work for some of the largest and most well-known defense firms in the country.
I have worked with nearly every major insurance carrier and third-party administrator as a defense, coverage, and/or monitoring counsel on cases from inception through trial in matters involving construction, personal injury, workers’ compensation, products liability, professional liability, and insurance coverage and employment disputes.
This has provided me with a thorough and invaluable understanding of how cases are analyzed and litigated from the perspective of the defense firms and the insurance companies they represent which helps me to present our clients’ cases in the best manner possible.
When it comes to my handling of cases, I have a very client-based approach. My number one priority is to understand the client’s goals and to be direct and honest with him or her about their case and how we can maximize their result in a manner that is both practical and efficient. I work on every case with the idea that trial may be necessary for the event we cannot settle on the most advantageous terms for the client.
Outside of work and when I have free time, I unwind by eating out, traveling, and enjoying a good laugh with friends and family.
