Holt received the honor of being named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers from 2010-2016, The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 in 2017 and 2018, as well as Florida Trend Legal Elite in 2018 and 2019. Holt is admitted to both the Florida and Georgia Bars and has successfully litigated and gone to trial in both the State and Federal Courts of Florida and Georgia. He also has experience in handling appeals to the Florida District Court of Appeals.
Prior to practicing law, Holt attended the University of Florida. While in college, he enlisted in the United States Army. In the Army, he served in Bosnia in support of Operation Joint Guard and received several commendations for his service.
When Holt returned home, he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and attended Stetson University College of Law. At Stetson, he was a member of the Stetson Law Review, admitted into the Phi Delta Phi legal honorary fraternity for academic excellence, and interned for The Honorable Charles Wilson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
When Holt is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessie, and their two daughters.
