Jason represents clients within the firm's LegalShield network. Prior to joining Lisle Rutledge, he was a solo practitioner dealing with a wide variety of general practice matters, such as divorce and custody disputes, business formation and representation, personal injury, criminal law, Social Security Disability, and probate matters.Jason grew up in Longview, Texas, though he visited Northwest Arkansas frequently for holidays and other family gatherings. Jason attended Centenary College of Louisiana where he earned a bachelor's degree in English. He also attended Duke University where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. Following his graduation from Duke, Jason spent nearly a decade in pastoral ministry in the United Methodist Church in Texas. After taking a voluntary leave of absence from the church, Jason attended the University of Arkansas School of Law where he earned his law degree.Jason is a certified mediator through the Arkansas Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission for civil, domestic and probate matters and enjoys assisting adverse parties in resolving and settling their disputes. He is a member of the Washington County Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, and he serves as the legal advisor for the Northwest District of the Arkansas United Methodist Church.
