Jeffrey D. Conley, Esq. was born and spent his formative years in Illinois. In 1987, he and his wife Theresa moved to Denver where he attended the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. He obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1991. Mr. Conley obtained a license to practice law in Colorado and Illinois.
While in law school, Mr. Conley focused on family law. He was a member of the university’s law clinic and represented low-income clients with their family law cases. He was an associate editor of the American Bar Association’s Family Law Quarterly and completed all of the domestic relations classes offered. After law school, Mr. Conley worked with a small practice litigator, and then with a with a larger commercial litigation firm in downtown Denver. Although Mr. Conley has been involved in several areas of law, including business law and commercial litigation, family law is the reason he started his own practice.
Mr. Conley resides in South Metro Denver with his wife Theresa and two children, Lauren and James – as well as an assortment of pets. Much of his free time is spent discussing world events and philosophy with his children, enjoying the MotoGP races on TV, practicing the bass guitar, loving the beauty of Colorado, and doing yard work with his list-making spouse.
