ABOUT Jeffrey M. Wilson

Admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1974, Jeff Wilson has been skillfully advocating for clients and their causes for over 40 years. Jeff Wilson was born in Ravenna, Ohio and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Denver. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University College of Law. He is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Idaho as well as the Ninth and Tenth Circuits of the United States Court of Appeals. Jeff’s superior expertise and deep understanding have made him a leading attorney in creditors’ rights, including commercial and retail collections, foreclosures, bankruptcy representation, replevins and deficiency actions. He is a member of the Small Lawsuit Resolution hearing office panel and a member of the arbitration forum.

Jeff believes that the law is, in many ways, the foundation of a free society and he has selflessly devoted much of his time leading and supporting the legal community. He was Idaho Bar Commissioner from 1992-1995. He was also President of the Idaho State Bar in 1995 and Chancellor of the Jack Rabbit Bar in 1995. He is Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rated, a member of the Idaho State Bar Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Practice Section and a hearing officer for the Idaho State Board of Medicine.

Jeff and his wife are parents to 3 children and grandparents to 3 beautiful grandchildren. He is active with Special Olympics and enjoys steelhead fishing. He and his wife enjoy spending time at their second home in New Meadows, Idaho.
