Jerry S. Busby, a partner in the firm, is based in the Las Vegas office. Jerry has more than thirty-three years of trial experience and concentrates his practice in civil litigation matters in State and Federal Court. The majority of his litigation experience has been in the field of general defense of civil litigation.
Jerry began his legal career defending civil personal injury cases. He tried his first civil case in 1985 for a grocery store and has since tried approximately 100 civil cases in State and Federal Court. Jerry has been retained as an expert witness FOR the defense of civil litigation. He also speaks Spanish which is helpful in communicating with witnesses in the cases he litigates.
Jerry graduated with Honors from Brigham Young University, with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance (1981). He graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University in 1984. He has taught various continuing education seminars.
Jerry is a member of the Nevada State Bar and is currently licensed to practice in all Courts, State and Federal, in the State of Nevada. He is also a member of the Arizona State Bar, but does not actively practice in Arizona at this time.
Jerry is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Defense Research Institute, and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
