John focuses his practice in representing clients in wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability, sexual assault, and automobile cases. Since graduating from The John Marshall Law School in 2017, John has already participated in several trials, as well as secured millions of dollars in settlements for his clients. John has focused his practice on helping the injured, those who find themselves in the most desperate times of need and advocating for them vigorously.
Some of John’s notable settlements and verdicts include a seven-figure confidential settlement; $350,000 settlement for a man who was struck by a train and suffered two fractured legs; $325,000 for a man who suffered neck injuries in a rear-end auto collision; $175,000 for a woman who fractured her arm when she fell exiting an office building; $165,000 for a woman who was sexually assaulted; $150,000 for a man who suffered a leg fracture at a nursing home; $132,000 for a man who was struck by a CTA bus and sustained a broken rib; $107,500 for a woman who sustained neck injuries when she fell off her bike near a construction site; $100,000 for a man who injured his shoulder when he fell on ice at his apartment complex.
John joined Hale & Monico as a trial lawyer in 2019 after working at a well-respected personal injury firm in Chicago. John is known professionally for his tenacious work ethic, charisma, and writing skills, John has successfully argued motions in both state and federal court.
John comes from a family of Union workers and lawyers. Growing up in a Union household, John learned at an early age the value of hard work and perseverance. John is a graduate of Maine South High School, where he was a scholar-athlete and three-time Illinois High School Association Football State Championship runner up. After graduating high school, John continued his football career and played quarterback for Lake Forest College.
Outside his practice, John spends his time mentoring young student-athletes, giving back to the legal community through various pro bono legal projects and serves on the Young Champions Committee for the Alzheimer’s Association Chicago Rita Hayworth Gala.
