Mr. Carlson joined McCormick Barstow in April of 2008 and is a member of the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation Practice Group as well as the Tort Litigation Practice Group. During his tenure, Mr. Carlson has handled countless depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement conferences.
Experience
He routinely drafts coverage opinions and handles Declatory Judgment actions for the firm’s insurance coverage clients. Additionally, Mr. Carlson is responsible for litigated matters at all stages from initial pleading up to and including trial. Mr. Carlson has tried several cases to verdict, reaching successful conclusions for the clients represented by McCormick Barstow.
Mr. Carlson also has experience handling appeals in both federal and state court in Nevada.

Mr. Carlson is AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated with Martindale-Hubbell. He has been selected for inclusion in the Mountain States Rising Stars list (2015-2017) for his primary area of practice of Insurance Coverage.
Community Involvement
Mr. Carlson serves on the Board of Directors for Families for Effective Autism Treatment, the largest autism non-profit in Las Vegas.
