Judy A. Williams

Judy graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 1985 and was admitted to the State Barof Montana. She has varied professional experience, including poverty law issues and general civil law, with a special interest in child welfare law.

Her prior work includes Montana Assistant Attorney General, Child Protection Unit and Attorney Guardian ad Litem for abused and neglected children in Court. She is the only Child Welfare Law Specialist in Billings, and 1 of just 3 statewide, certified by the National Association of Counsel for Children and approved by the ABA.

Judy is active in the Billings community and has served various organizations over the years, including the local CASA program board, volunteer in her children’s schools, Yellowstone Art Center Summerfair committee chair, and the United Campus Ministry Board. Outside of work Judy enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs, and she finds time to read, cook, knit, hike and travel.
