ABOUT Justin E. Parkey

Justin Parkey grew up in Jonesboro, graduating from Jonesboro High School in 2001. He attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and double majored in accounting and economics. Justin received his B.B.A. from Harding in 2005, graduating summa cum laude. Justin then attended Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. While at Pepperdine, he was an active member of the moot court team, participating in several national and international competitions, and was selected as a member of the Order of the Barristers. He received his J.D. from Pepperdine in 2008.

After law school, Justin served as a law clerk to Judge D. Price Marshall Jr. on both the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas and the Arkansas Court of Appeals. He also served as a law clerk to Arkansas Court of Appeals Judge Raymond R. Abramson. Having clerked for judges at both the trial and appellate levels and at both state and federal courts, Justin was able to hone his research and writing skills and to gain invaluable experience behind the scenes of the court system.

He primarily works in the firm’s litigation section on a variety of cases, including commercial litigation, employment law matters, medical malpractice defense, tort actions, and contract disputes, among others. Justin is licensed to practice in all Arkansas state and federal courts and is a member of the Arkansas and Craighead County Bar Associations.
