Kara J. Carey

Kara J. Carey joined Ryan Faenza Carey in 2013. An experienced family law practitioner, she has been practicing domestic relations law since 2007. Kara comes to Ryan Faenza Carey from a boutique family law firm in Lexington. She has managed all aspects of family law cases including divorce, child support, child custody, paternity, alimony, division of property, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, contempts, modifications and abuse prevention. Kara is a skilled litigator and frequently appears in court for motion hearings, pre-trial conferences, contempt hearings and other court related matters.A trained mediator and conciliator, Kara participates in the Norfolk and Middlesex Probate and Family Court Conciliation programs through the Norfolk and Middlesex County Bar Associations. While a law student, Kara interned with now Chief Justice Paula M. Carey at the Norfolk Probate and Family Court.In addition to being an experienced family law attorney, Kara is a Licensed Real Estate Broker. When not practicing law, Kara enjoys volunteering in her community.
