I was born and raised in Byron, Minnesota and returned to the area after law school. I have over a decade of experience in general practice. I advise clients on a wide range of legal subjects with a special emphasis on family and bankruptcy law. I take pride in helping clients through difficult situations and getting them the best outcome possible.
My experience includes a focus on consumer bankruptcy proceedings (both Chapter 7 liquidation and Chapter 13 repayment) for businesses and individuals wishing to alleviate the burden of unmanageable debt. I also handle non-bankruptcy debt workouts and debt settlements. I have represented numerous individuals and businesses in complex bankruptcy situations, guiding them from the commencement of their bankruptcy case through discharge and post-discharge issues.
I also focus much of my practice on family law including marital dissolutions, paternity, custody, child support and prenuptial agreements.
When not working, I enjoy volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America and I am a member of the Sons of the American Legion and of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Byron.
