KATHRYN B. NELSON is a shareholder in the Tucson office. She represents individuals, businesses, banks, and non-profit organizations involved in real estate, commercial finance, natural resource and other business transactions ranging from purchases, sales and leasing to commercial loans and financing. Ms. Nelson’s practice is concentrated in representing financial institutions and borrowers in real estate secured and commercial lending transactions, loan restructures and workouts, and foreclosures. She has represented clients in commercial projects, construction loans, restaurants, hotels, mining projects, golf courses and residential development loans. Ms. Nelson earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Political Science, 1988) and law degrees from the University of Arizona, where she was a member of the Arizona Law Review and served as an Executive Note Editor. She has been practicing law in Tucson since receiving her law degree in 1991. Ms. Nelson is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the Pima County Bar Association. In addition, she is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women and the Pima County Real Estate Research Council. She also serves on the board of Our Family Services and on the board of Southern Arizona Legal Aid’s Arizona Community Legal Assistance Program. Ms. Nelson is rated AV® by Martindale-Hubbell.
