Kathryn Canale earned her law degree from California Western School of Law, (J.D., 1997). There, she served as the President of the International Law Society and was a certified law student which allowed her to appear in court with supervision prior to obtaining her law license. Ms. Canale is licensed to practice law before all Courts in the State of California, as well as the U.S. District Court, Southern and Central Districts of California. Ms. Canale received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Evansville, Evansville, Indiana, (B.A., 1995) where she attained Dean's List Honors. She double majored in International Business and Marketing and minored in German. While an undergraduate, she completed an internship with the IBM, served on the Executive Board of Phi Mu Fraternity and ran Division I Cross Country. Ms. Canale began her legal career working in house for a general contractor where she handled corporate, employment and litigation matters. Following her in house experience, Ms. Canale worked for an AV rated law firm handling a wide variety of corporate and litigation matters. She specialized in handling litigation with complex liability issues and cases with exposure in excess of a million dollars. Ms. Canale comes to Bradley & Gmelich as an experienced litigator with a broad background of experience upon which to draw. She is known for being an aggressive litigator for her utilization of procedural and substantive motions to resolve litigation in her clients favor. Ms. Canale is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Southern California Defense Counsel. Ms. Canale spends her spare time hiking with her dogs, knitting, reading, and working on home improvement projects.
