Katie C. Guffin

Katie was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College, with a major in biology and a minor in environmental issues. After hiking a section of the Pacific Crest Trail in California, Katie taught science and outdoor environmental education in California, Colorado, and Montana.

In 2011, Katie earned her law degree from the University of Montana School of Law, along with a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resource Law. As a law student, Katie was an editor for the Public Land and Resources Law Review, member of the Negotiation Competition Team, president of the Environmental Law Group, class representative for the Student Bar Association, and teaching assistant and mentor to incoming students. Katie interned at Christensen, Moore, Cockrell, Cummings & Axelberg, P.C.; the Montana Attorney General's Office; and the United States Attorney's Office. She was awarded the International Academy of Trial Lawyers 2010 Student Advocacy Award.
