Keith received his law degree from South Texas College of Law in May 1978, and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same month. He is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and is admitted to the federal courts in the Southern District of Texas, the Western District of Texas, and the Eastern District of Texas. Previously he earned the B.S. in Chemical Engineering, M.S. in Chemical Engineering, and Ph.D. degrees from The University of Texas at Austin.
He established the Law Offices of Keith Lovelace in Houston, Texas in 1980. Previously, Keith worked in business (oil and electronics) as an engineer, engineering supervisor, technical manager, general manager and president of a Texas corporation. He is a member of the Houston Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, National Employment Lawyers Association, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Keith was a director and served as the Chairman of the Board of the Greater Southwest Houston Chamber of Commerce during the Chamber's 50th anniversary year.
