Keith M. Backman

Keith Backman received a B.A. Degree and a J.D. Degree from BYU. He graduated J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1993 and started his career working as an attorney for Helgesen, Houtz & Jones in Ogden. He is now a parter of the law firm.{newline}{newline}Keith focuses his practice on Business Law, Family Law such as Divorce and Child Custody, Contracts, Real Estate Law and Estate Planning. He has made a reputation for himself as a great attorney as he has represented clients in almost every court along the Wasatch Front. He has appeared many times in the Utah Supreme Court and Utah Court of Appeals including his most recent appearance where the Utah Supreme Court changed their ruling on liquidated damages based on the case he was arguing.{newline}{newline}He met his wife while attending BYU. They were married in 1989, and now are the proud parents of four children. Their oldest daughter is keeping the familiy tradition alive by attending BYU.{newline}{newline}

Keith Backman loves to stay busy. He loves reading books, and would someday like make a useable catalog of his book collection for his children. He loves to hike and ride around on his motorcycle. He has always wanted to create his own PC from scratch. He also would like to transfer his cassette tapes and vinyl records onto CD's for him and his family to use.
