Kelly Tanner handles matters in criminal and civil law at Banks and Jones. Before attending the Duncan School of law, Kelly served as a law enforcement officer for more than 20 years. He has made literally hundreds of cases in nearly every conceivable facet of criminal law while serving as a law enforcement officer, such as DUI, theft, assaults and domestic issues, even robberies and murders. He has extensive experience investigating complex drug offenses at both the state and federal levels. To say that he has knowledge of how the prosecution makes their cases is an understatement. He served as an accident reconstructionist during his prior law enforcement career, giving him keen insight into the civil area of legal practice.
