Kevin S. Kaufman is a well-known lawyer who started his career at Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation right after finishing law school. He was so good at his job that he quickly got a special role in the law department of Columbia Natural Resources.
In 1987, Kevin decided to start his own law firm in Charleston called Pierson & Kaufman. He worked there as a partner, helping the firm grow and do really well until 1992. During this time, Kevin showed that he was not only a great lawyer but also good at leading and helping others in his firm.
Wanting to help people in his hometown, Kevin went back to North Central West Virginia in 1992. There, he started his own law office, which later became Kaufman & McPherson, PLLC. This showed his commitment to helping his community with legal issues.
Kevin is famous in the legal world and has won awards like Top 10 National Academy of Personal Injury Attorney’s and Top 100 Trial Lawyers in West Virginia. He can work in many different courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court of Appeals, which shows he can handle all sorts of tough legal cases.
Outside of work, Kevin has a happy life with his wife, Wanda. They live in southern Harrison County, West Virginia, and love to travel and spend time with their grandchildren. Kevin's life is a great mix of being a successful lawyer and having a happy family life.
