ABOUT Kiera C. McGroarty

Kiera is a member of the Health Care Department, where she handles matters involving medical malpractice and nursing home negligence. Prior to joining the health care group, Kiera practiced in the firm’s Casualty Department handling general, commercial and premises liability cases.

Kiera enjoys utilizing her strong analytical and advocacy skills to obtain favorable matter resolutions for clients. To complement this results-driven approach, Kiera has collaborated with the firm’s e-discovery team to utilize and integrate technology to deliver successful results.

In 2014, Kiera graduated summa cum laude from the University of Scranton earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Finance. While at Scranton, Kiera was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honors Society, which is the highest accolade a Jesuit university student can achieve awarded to the top 5% of the class.

Kiera attended Rutgers University Law School, Camden where she was a Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholar. As the class president, she delivered the Rutgers Law School Class of 2017 commencement speech. While at Rutgers, Kiera was recognized for her writing skills and served as a Legal Writing teaching assistant and Lead New Developments Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion. She was later published in the fall 2015 edition. Kiera served as a judicial intern to the honorable Karen Suter, J.S.C. and started with the firm as a summer associate.
