Kirsten Wold started as a law clerk for the Hankey Law Office in 2003. She became a full time associate after graduating from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of law in 2006. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and political analysis from Miami University (Ohio). Her primary practice area is Social Security Disability, with a specific focus on Federal Court Appeals.
If your Social Security claim is denied by an Administrative Law Judge and the Appeals Council, it is Kirsten who will be taking over your case if it is appealed to the Federal Court level. As the Federal Court Appeals specialist, Kirsten dedicates her time to reading decisions, writing legal briefs, and researching case law to support our clients’ cases at this technical and time consuming appellate level. Now that she has moved out of state, Federal Court appeals are her primary focus.
She currently lives in Miami, Florida while working for The Hankey Law Office from her home that she shares with her husband and animals. Living in Miami allows Kirsten to live closer to family, both her parents and in-laws, as well as the opportunity to watch her niece and nephew grow up. When not working, Kirsten loves to travel, read and paint, whether it be the walls of the house or artwork to hang on those walls. Despite her Florida address, Kirsten still considers herself an Indiana girl and takes advantage of every opportunity to visit home or root for her Indiana teams.
