From the very beginning of her career, Krista has focused on her skills as a trial attorney. She received her law degree in 2002 from University of Nebraska College of Law, where she was awarded both the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award, and the Outstanding Clinical Student of the Year Award. Since graduating from law school, she has tried more than seventy-five cases to juries, and has handled hundreds of hearings and trials before judges. Krista has also handled numerous appeals.Krista maintains a general litigation practice, with a dual focus on protecting the best interests of small businesses and preserving the assets of individuals involved in complicated family law matters. She is dedicated to providing cost-effective and responsive legal representation. Some additional areas of her practice include cases involving:•Serious injuries and wrongful death;•Appeals of trial court orders;•Modification of existing family law orders;•Enforcement of existing family law orders;•Timesharing disputes;•Consumer rights; and•Insurance coverage disputes.Krista was raised in Polk County, and attended primary and secondary school in Winter Haven, Florida. She received her bachelor's degree from Bethany College in 1998. Krista is a provisional member of the Junior League of Greater Winter Haven, and a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She frequently donates time to individuals who cannot afford to hire an attorney through Florida Rural Legal Services. Krista lives in Winter Haven with her husband, Alex, and their son.
