Kurt Rocha is an associate attorney at Joel H. Schwartz, P.C., who concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury and civil litigation. He is admitted in three jurisdictions: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
Prior to joining the firm, Kurt worked at a well-known civil litigation law firm in Rhode Island where he concentrated his practice in personal injury law. While there, he successfully received awards in excess of One Million Dollars for his clients. Prior to that, Kurt was a law clerk for the Rhode Island Supreme Court Law Clerk Department where he worked on a variety of issues. One of the important assignments he worked on was assisting on the dispositive civil motion calendar in the Providence County Superior Court.
Kurt received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Roger Williams University in 2007. He also received a Master's of Science in Criminal Justice in 2011. He received his law degree from Roger Williams University, cum laude, in 2011. While in law school, Kurt competed in several trial team competitions and was a finalist in the regional American Association for Justice competition.
Kurt is an active member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, Rhode Island Bar Association, and Rhode Island Association for Justice.
