Laurie Dobkin McDermott

Laurie Dobkin McDermott has been with McDermott & Bonenberger, P.L.L.C., since 1990 and focuses her practice in the area of personal injury, real estate, and business law. She has represented the interests of children who have been victimized by abuse and neglect, and the interests of incapacitated adults.

Mrs. McDermott is a member of the West Virginia Bar Association and Ohio County Bar Association where she served as a two-term Treasurer and as a member of the Ohio County Bar Association Executive Committee. She is also a member of the West Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. Mrs. McDermott has served on the Wheeling-Ohio County Planning Commission, the Board of Directors of the Wheeling YWCA, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Wheeling Country Day School.

Mrs. McDermott graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law and is a magna cum laudegraduate of Bethany College. She and her husband, Greg, are the parents of two daughters, Morgan and Jackie, and the family resides in Wheeling, West Virginia.
