Larry Maya is a graduate of Loyola University School of Law and has been practicing personal injury law since 1999. He is licensed by the State of Illinois and a member of the federal Trial Bar. He has successfully litigated a wide array of cases on behalf of his clients, including medical and nursing home negligence, motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, food poisoning, and products liability. He is an experienced trial attorney, and has brought well over a 100 cases to jury verdict. Larry has been awarded the Lead Counsel Rating for his trial work. He has collected millions of dollars in damages on behalf of his clients throughout his career. He is often referred and retained by other law firms to prosecute and handle difficult and complex cases and trials. Additionally, Larry has appeared and argued before the Illinois Appellate Court on behalf of his clients.
Larry Maya is active in both the legal and local communities. He is a member of both the Illinois Trial Lawyer’s Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. He has also authored a legal column for a local area newspaper. In 2015, he was a Sponsoring Member for the Little Village Chamber of Commerce in Chicago. In 2016, he served as an instructor and judge teaching trial skills to new lawyers. In 2017, Larry was invited to and recorded a videotaped discussion addressing current gun control laws in the State of Illinois.
