ABOUT Lawrence R. Pellett

Lawrence R. Pellett graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics in 1979. He obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1983. He was admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee in the same year. Attorney Pellett was admitted to the bar in Connecticut in 1984. He was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 1988. He was board certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 1995 (re-certified in 2000).

Attorney Pellett has been board certified as a workers’ compensation specialist by the Connecticut Bar Association since 2001. He practiced civil litigation and workers’ compensation at Feeley, Nichols, Chase, McDermott & Pellett, P.C. in Waterbury until 2004. From 2004 through 2018, Attorney Pellett was a partner of McGann, Bartlett & Brown, LLC in East Hartford. He is now a member of the firm of The Nicholas Law Firm, LLC with offices in Torrington and Waterbury where he limits his practice to the representation of claimants in work injury related litigation, workers’ compensation and appeals.
