Madelaine Kramer enjoys learning the very unique needs of each client. She brings a breadth of experience managing attorney and medical malpractice and product liability defense litigation. Her consultative guidance offers thorough and reliable representation to health care providers, legal professionals, and their practices. She is well-versed in cases involving complex commercial litigation, including but not limited to personal injury, product liability, premises liability, property disputes, toxic tort, employment, short and long term care, and Birth Injury Fund proceedings. Her experience practicing in state and federal courts in all three jurisdictions of Virginia, D.C., and Maryland helps her dissect and understand opposing counsel’s strategy, so that you are well-prepared to achieve a desirable outcome.
Madelaine is experienced in drafting appellate briefs and talented in helping to resolve matters involving insurance coverage analysis and an array of insurance defense issues. She is thorough to gather all details so that you can feel confident that she is diligently handling your case with precision and care.
While attending the University of Richmond School of Law, Madelaine served as manuscripts editor of the University of Richmond Law Review and also as a judicial extern to the Honorable Dennis W. Dohnal in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Madelaine joined Sands Anderson in 2016. As a respected legal professional, she is the Chair the Virginia Bar Association Young Lawyers’ Division Executive Board, and a former Chair of the Law School Councils and the Law School Council for the University of Richmond. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, and is a past chair of the Product & Toxic Torts section. For the Defense Research Institute she is the Reporter for Washington, D.C. of the Legislative Liaison Subcommittee of the Young Lawyers Committee.
