Maggie W. Stein graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 2005 with an emphasis in natural resource and Indian law. Ms. Stein also attended the University of Colorado and graduated with a Degree in Environmental Studies previous to her 2005 law degree.
Maggie was admitted to the Montana Bar in 2005. However, rather than practice law, she worked in real estate development and financing in the Bozeman Montana area until 2011.
In February 2011, Maggie joined the Goodrich Law Firm PC as an associate. In 2016, the Goodrich Law Firm PC merged with the Reely Law Firm PC of Missoula to create Goodrich & Reely, PLLC. Maggie is an associate with Goodrich & Reely, PLLC, in the Billings office. Her practice focuses on bankruptcy law, farm and ranch transactions and water law.
Although Maggie lives in the Livingston Montana area, she practices out of the Billings Montanaoffice. However, the scope of her practice is statewide.
Maggie is the incoming chair of the Bankruptcy Section of the Montana State Bar and is a co-chair of the annual Bankruptcy Section CLE program. She is also a member of the Montana Local Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure Committee and a member of the Clyde Park School Board.
Maggie enjoys the outdoors and raises a menagerie of goats, chickens and other livestock at her home near Livingston Montana.
