Marcia Miller, a partner at SiebenCarey, works closely with the trial attorneys to prepare and respond to legal memoranda and briefs and argue motions at all levels of litigation through the appellate process. Our clients benefit from Marcia's thorough analysis, vast legal research and writing experience, and perspective on complex issues. Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Marcia was the assistant director of the nationally-ranked Health Law Institute at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She also taught Legal Research and Writing at Hamline University School of Law, practiced appellate law at Rider Bennett LLP, and clerked for Judges Minge, Shumaker, and Wright at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. She is admitted to the Minnesota State Bar, United States District Court, District of Minnesota, and Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. As an adjunct professor for over ten years, Marcia has enjoyed teaching international foreign exchange and LL.M students, as well as students in Hamline University's Master in the Study of Law program. She has also presented at continuing legal education courses regarding motion practice, appellate issues, and teaching legal research and writing to international law students.
