Ms. Weamer works with local, national, and international companies in virtually all aspects of the employment relationship, including negotiating contracts, drafting employment handbooks, and handling complex disputes in administrative and court proceedings including class action representation. She has also represented employees in reviewing and negotiating employment agreements and has brought claims in administrative and court proceedings for discrimination, wage claims, and wrongful termination.
Ms. Weamer has represented materials suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and owners in many aspects of the construction industry, from the initial contracting phase to litigating complex disputes. Her work often entails pursing insurance coverage under several types of policies that are generally involved in construction cases, as well as representing policy holders in coverage disputes.
In her real property practice, Ms. Weamer has represented commercial and residential property owners in navigating local land use regulations and has represented owners before local land use boards and planning and zoning commissions. She has worked with businesses and individuals in a variety of transactions including purchase and sale agreements and lease negotiations. In addition, Ms. Weamer handles real property and easement disputes of all types.
Ms. Weamer has previously served as the president of the local Gallatin County Bar Association and the current vice president of the Montana Justice Foundation. She is also an American Bar Association Fellow, a member of the American Bar Association, and a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry.
