ABOUT Marianne Johnston

“After enjoying a career as a corporate litigator for more than twenty-years, I changed gears and joined Price and Price to focus on elder law. My own experience of watching my beloved mom suffer with worsening dementia is what sparked my interest in this area of the law. Now I can add my career change to the lengthy list of things for which I heartily thank my mom.

By way of background, I graduated from Lafayette College in 1985. After working in banking for several years, I decided to go to law school and graduated from George Washington University with honors in June 1991. In September of that year, I joined the litigation department of Philadelphia law firm. I worked there until joining Price and Price.

I live in Haddonfield with my husband, Michael Poisel, and our two teenage children. When not practicing law, I am usually shuttling my son or daughter to practice for basketball, cross-country, track, baseball, karate, or drama club. I love to travel with my family and ride the waves at the Jersey shore.

Many moons ago, a college professor lectured to my class that personal fulfillment could be gained by finding work about which we were passionate. He was right. Finding solutions for our clients as they deal with the often complex legal issues of aging is incredibly satisfying.”
