Mark B. Levin was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida. After high school, he attended Florida State University, and graduated in 1981 with a B.S. in Criminology and a minor in Sociology. After college, Mark worked as a private investigator, first on Miami Beach, then in Houston. In 1985, he started his legal training at South Texas College of Law, graduating in 1987.
While in law school, Mark interned for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, handling asset forfeitures. After becoming licensed to practice in 1988, he began working as an Associate for the Law Office of Odom, Schmerin and Thomason. Here he handled Plaintiff’s personal injury cases, criminal defense and traffic ticket defense. In 1990, Mark became an Associate and then a partner at the Law Offices of Gary S. Tucker, where he handled litigation of plaintiff’s personal injury cases.
In 1995, Mark formed the partnership of Odom and Levin, and became board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. During his 17 year partnership with Odom, Mark litigated and tried hundreds of cases.
Mark has 25 years of experience litigating personal injury cases throughout Texas, including motor vehicle and tractor trailer collisions, premise liability cases, medical malpractice, professional malpractice, products liability, and general civil litigation. He is passionate about protecting his clients’ rights, and forcing insurance companies to fairly compensate injured victims and their families.
Mark is also a certified mediator who handles all types of civil disputes, and a member of the State Bar College for attorneys who complete more than the required amount of continuing legal education. Additionally, he has served as an Associate Municipal Court Judge for Jacinto City.
When he is not representing the injured, Mark enjoys spending time with his family.
