Marty Hopkins is an electric power industry lawyer. As a member of Eversheds Sutherland’s Energy and Infrastructure Practice Group, she advises clients on a wide variety of complex regulatory matters, litigation, and commercial transactions. She represents owners of conventional and renewable generation, electric utilities, utility investors, retail electric providers, and other clients before state and federal agencies and in state and federal court. She has significant experience with multi-state and Texas-jurisdictional transmission projects and regularly advises clients on bringing these projects to commercial operation.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Marty served as an associate in the Austin office of a large international law firm, where her practice focused on complex commercial litigation.
