Martin Paul Weniz

Martin P. Weniz, is Of Counsel at the Law Offices of Michels & Lew. His areas of practice include medical malpractice, personal injury, and elder/dependent adult abuse litigation. Mr. Weniz was trial and appellate counsel for plaintiff in the groundbreaking medical malpractice case of Mejia v. Community Hospital of San Bernardino. The Mejia case was the largest medical malpractice verdict in the State of California in the year it was tried, and it established important legal precedent in the State of California that a hospital will be held responsible to the patient for the malpractice of those physicians who practice at the hospital, even if the physician was not employed by the hospital at the time of the negligence.
