ABOUT Megan Irene Healey Taylor

Megan joined TATE BYWATER as an associate in February 2014. Her practice is centered on family law matters, including divorce, property division, custody, support and visitation, and adoption. She rounds out her experience with criminal representation, and is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and Fairfax Bar Association.

Megan graduated from Brigham Young University in 2003, with a BA in Political Science and a BS in Conservation Biology. Following graduation, she moved to Washington, D.C., and worked on Capitol Hill as an aide to former United States Senator Larry E. Craig. Upon finishing her first year of law school at the David A. Clarke School of Law at the University of the District of Columbia, Megan was named a Dean’s Fellow. She also served on the Editorial Board of the University of the District of Columbia Law Review as a Publications Editor, and provided over 1000 hours of pro-bono legal representation as a court-certified student attorney to low-income residents of the District of Columbia. She graduated cum laude in 2013.
