Michael B. Lester

Michael Lester joined Matteuzzi & Brooker as a law clerk while he was still in law school. Michael is currently admitted and licensed to practice in Missouri state courts, as well as the U.S District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Missouri.

Mr. Lester graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law. His interest in trial work and oral advocacy began in college where he competed and won his first Moot Court competition. In law school, he was a member and then an officer of the National Moot Court Competition Team. While at UMKC, he was an Articles Editor for the Urban Lawyer and a published member of the Law Review. Furthermore, Mr. Lester was recognized as the Miller Scholar, a distinction given to one student per graduating class based on merit and a rigorous application process. Prior to attending UMKC, Mr. Lester graduated magna cum laude from Rice University, where he was elected Chief Justice and later voted an Outstanding Senior.

Michael currently makes his home just off the Plaza, in Kansas City, Missouri.
