ABOUT Michael Jacobson

Michael Jacobson, a partner with Cooper Levenson since 1987, is a member of the firm's Executive Committee. He brings more than three decades of experience to the firm in the areas of Banking, Real Estate, Commercial and Municipal Law, and Civil Litigation.

Practice Highlights

Michael concentrates in Real Estate, Banking and Foreclosure Law and related issues, such as foreclosure, tax appeals, lease/contract work, purchase/sale, and zoning and planning. His client list includes banks, private companies, partnerships, and corporations. In addition to handling loan documentation and general transactional work for banks, he has completed in excess of 9, 500 foreclosure matters, including large commercial mortgages securing up to $450, 000, 000.00. He has successfully represented purchasers of casino hotel complexes in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Michael's work over the years in zoning and planning covers both the private and public sectors. He was responsible for rewriting the township zoning ordinance, while serving as the Municipal Attorney for the Township of Egg Harbor from 1978-1988. He also served as Solicitor for Egg Harbor Township's Rent Review Board from 1981-1988.
